YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan attended official opening of the symposium entitled “The regulation of closed borders in contemporary international law.” The event was organized by the “Center for International and Comparative Law” NGO. 

In his remarks, Sargsyan expressed a satisfaction by the activities of the newly established NGO. “The Center has selected extremely important and actual matters, for its discussions, which have theoretical and applied significance for us. These matters deal with the Armenian Genocide, the existence of closed borders in modern-day world, and the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, specifically those legal issues related to the principle of self-determination,” Armenian PM stated, the Governmental Press Service informs.        

Also noting that generation change is important in research, Tigran Sargsyan said the youth can look at the current developments from wholly new perspectives, and put forward new hypotheses.
