The Élysée Palace announced that French President Emmanuel Macron had “taken note” of the National Assembly's decision to dismiss Prime Minister François Bayrou, France24 reports.
It was stated that a new prime minister would be appointed “in the coming days.”
Bayrou will resign on Tuesday morning.
