According to a survey published by the Israeli newspaper Maariv, the majority of Israelis support US President Donald Trump's plan to end the Gaza war, but many doubt its feasibility.

The survey, conducted by the Lazar Institute of academic research, shows that 66 percent of Israelis support Trump's aforesaid plan, while only 11 percent oppose it. And 23 percent of the respondents said they were unaware of it.

But only 14 percent of Israelis believe this plan has a high probability of success, while 41 percent say it has some probability of success.

Also, 30 percent believe the plan has a low probability of success, while 15 percent are unsure.
