YEREVAN. – Armenia’s National Security Council recently conducted a study in the country’s medical drug market and it made rather interesting discoveries. Specifically, ordinary chalk is often being sold under the name of drugs, Zhoghovurd daily writes.   

“Furthermore, the report to that effect is presented to [President] Serzh Sargsyan. Armenian National Security Council Secretary’s spokesperson Harutyun Amiryan partly confirmed this information. According to him, the only thing is that the monitoring results are still being examined. ‘The monitoring results are currently at the examination phase, and, in line with the regulations, they are being reported to the President,’ he told Zhoghovurd,” the daily writes.
