An employee whose salary is not officially registered by their employer is essentially having their life undermined, because in today’s reality, a person’s future prospects are closely tied to their income history. This statement was made by Armenia’s Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan during the government session on October 23.

“By not officially registering the salary and paying it in cash, the employer deprives the employee of opportunities such as obtaining a mortgage, buying a car, or living a normal life. In this sense, our citizens who work without official registration need to know that they are being cheated. Today’s unregistered income will make their future life far more difficult than it could have been,” he said.
