During my most recent working visit to Turkey, I officially invited President Erdogan to Yerevan for the European Political Community summit, and I hope that invitation will be accepted. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at the international Orbeli Forum being held in Yerevan.

Pashinyan recalled that he has met with Erdogan quite frequently in recent years. “I have visited Turkey twice. Moreover, I was on a working visit to Turkey for the first time, which I consider very successful,” he said.

According to him, the normalization of relations, the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the reopening of the border between Armenia and Turkey are just a matter of time. The Armenian premier added that this is influenced not only by the political will of the two countries, but also by certain “gravitational factors.”
