YEREVAN. – At present, the option of passing to a 100-percent proportional election system is the unique and the only way for holding free and fair elections in Armenia, the ruling coalition’s Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vardan Bostanjyan stated during a press conference on Wednesday.    

He also noted that the discussion of this matter has delayed somewhat, but, as per the MP, its expedience will become clear during Wednesday’s discussion at the National Assembly’s Standing Committee on State and Legal Affairs.  

To note, the Committee will examine the matter of holding the parliamentary elections solely through the proportional system.
