An expert discussion dedicated to the reforms being implemented in Armenia’s Migration and Citizenship Service and their impact on the protection and integration of displaced persons was held in Yerevan, at the initiative of the Council of Europe (CoE) office, the Migration and Citizenship Service informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.
Nelli Davtyan, Head of thee Migration and Citizenship Service, presented the reform agenda being implemented in the service, the work completed and planned, and elaborated on the legal status and documentation process of Armenians displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh to Armenia.
Clare Ovey, Director of Human Rights of the CoE, presented the package of comprehensive measures implemented by the CoE in Armenia—and aimed at addressing issues related to responding to the influx of refugees to Armenia.
