The Zhoghovurd newspaper of Armenia writes as follows, in particular: The Zhoghovurd daily’s sources close to the authorities convey that [PM] Nikol Pashinyan has informed among his close circle that a group of bishops has already been formed, which is working in their favor and a plan of action is being developed.

According to our sources, during internal discussions among clergy, the bishops must constantly talk about the people around the Catholicos [of All Armenians, Karekin II], about the [Armenian Apostolic] church campaign that started because of them, and about the upcoming pressures.

According to our sources within the authorities, they should have an impact so that a "rebellion" develops within around the Catholicos and he decides to leave the Veharan [i.e. the official residence and workplace of the Catholicos of All Armenians].

We learned that in internal conversations, Nikol Pashinyan expresses a conviction that there will be stronger pressure soon and they will very soon have the result they desire.
