According to the survey results, Armenia’s ruling Civil Contract Party has the highest rating, at 16.5%, which, however, has decreased compared to the previous survey. Aram Navasardyan, Director of Director of MPG LLC which is a full member of Gallup International Association in Armenia, stated during a press conference Friday, and added that the respective question was asked as follows: “If parliamentary elections [in Armenia] were held next Sunday, for which party or bloc would you vote?”

“16.5% noted the Civil Contract Party. Here they have a 0.7–0.8% decrease. The ‘In Our Way’ movement is at 7.2%; here we have a rather significant negative change. Our previous surveys were conducted at the end of August, and they had recorded a quite sharp increase of 13.2%, which was five times higher than in surveys conducted at the end of June. Unfortunately, not only was that increase not maintained, it also declined. I think they should pay very serious attention to the format and content of their work. Next is the ‘Armenia’ bloc, with 6.8%. Here there is a slight positive movement. The PAP [i.e. the Prosperous Armenia Party] has been recording dynamic growth over a rather long period and is at 4.5%. If you notice, these four [political] forces overcome the threshold to enter the NA [i.e. the National Assembly.]

‘(...). 10.6% declined to answer this question, 22.4% found it difficult to answer, and 14.1% said ‘I will not vote at all’,” Navasardyan added, in particular.

The respective telephone survey was conducted with 1001 respondents, with a sampling error of 3%. The survey was conducted from November 27 to December 5 in Armenia.
