Armenia has no intention of joining NATO. Sargis Khandanyan, an MP of the ruling majority Civil Contract Faction and Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, told this to reporters—and in response to a question regarding the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) project.
According to Khandanyan, there cannot be a NATO representation in Armenia, and latter has no intention of becoming a NATO member.
Armenia is interested solely in cooperation with NATO, Khandanyan added.
