The Armenian government, at its cabinet meeting Thursday, approved the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Iraq on cooperation in youth affair and sports.

The explanation of the respective decision states that the signing of this memorandum aims to encourage the development of cooperation in youth affairs and sports between Armenia and Iraq. It will contribute to the establishment of cooperation between organizations and youth centers operating youth affairs and sports of the two countries.

The memorandum envisages holding joint seminars on youth affairs and sports in Armenia and Iraq, exchange of information on research and specialized studies in sports, and exchange of information on youth and sports institutions of the two countries.
