Opening the RA Government’s sitting on December 9, RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan informed the cabinet that Gevorg Danielyan was relieved of the post of RA Minister of Justice for failing in his duties. Premier Sargsyan said the Government attaches importance to ethnical norms, but Minister Danielyan failed to meet them.

The point is that the Chief of the Enforcement Service committed a grave violation of ethical norms. The Minister of Justice was ordered to take necessary measures, which was not done.

“That is impermissible,” Premier Sargsyan said. “Officials’ behavior is of high importance. If we want our country to progress, we must be exacting,” the Premier said.
