The United States has failed to harm Iran, said Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, speaking to the people of Bandar Abbas, IRNA reported.
According to Iranian President, Iran will not ask for permission to build its own missiles, aircraft, tanks and other military equipment to protect itself and the entire region.
As for Tehran-Washington relationship, Hassan Rouhani noted that US made desperate statements on the Joint Comprehensive Action Plan, more commonly known as the Iranian nuclear deal.
Iran would continue to act in accordance with its national interests, said Iran’s President.
As reported earlier, President Donald Trump outlined a tougher U.S. strategy for countering Iran on October 13, 2017. Trump gave deadline to come up with a new sanctions framework around Iranian nuclear deal, agreeing “for the last time” to waive nuclear-related sanctions critical to US participation in the deal.
