One person has died and several others are injured after a minivan from Armenia had an accident Sunday evening in Russia.

A minivan and a small car crashed on a highway in Tyumen Oblast, the regional department of the Russian state motor vehicle inspection on Monday told Interfax-Ural news agency.

An officer from the aforesaid regional department said that a car and a minivan, which was traveling from Armenia to Omsk, had collided.

In his words, a woman was killed and six people, including a 15-year-old, were injured in this crash.

Regional media reported that the woman who was driving the car was at fault in this tragedy. She died on the spot.

Medical assistance was needed to three passengers of this car as well as to the minivan’s two passengers from Armenia.
