There are many facts about fraud in the media. This is what Spokesperson of the Prime Minister of Armenia Vladimir Karapetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am, touching upon Nikol Pashinyan’s evaluation of the elections that took place in Armenia 1996.

Vladimir Karapetyan avoided giving a direct response when asked if he agrees with Nikol Pashinyan’s evaluation.

“It is clear that the elections were fraudulent. You remember the situation back then and how many representatives the authorities and the opposition had in the electoral committees. There is nothing new,” he said.

During his meeting with members of the Armenian community of Milan in the local Armenian church yesterday, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan declared the following: “Starting from 1996, all the leaders of Armenia have been evil for possessing power without having the people’s trust.”

Touching upon the Azerbaijani’s entrance into the church and his questions addressed to the Prime Minister during the meeting, Karapetyan stated that entrance was free for everyone.

“Entrance was free, and he entered. The church and the local Armenian embassy had announced that there was going to be a meeting,” he said and assured that the Prime Minister’s security officers had taken all the necessary measures.

Yesterday, an Azerbaijani by the name of Ata Abdullayev entered the Armenian church in Milan and addressed questions to Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, who was in a meeting with members of the local Armenian community.
