YEREVAN. – No silencer was found on the gun of Georgi Kutoyan, former Director of the National Security Service (NSS) of Armenia, on the day of the incident. Naira Harutyunyan, Acting Head of the Information and Public Relations Department of the Investigative Committee, informed this to Armenian News-NEWS.am.
As reported earlier, Kutoyan's dead body with gunshot wounds was found on January 17, in his apartment in Yerevan. His body was discovered by his wife. A criminal case has been instituted under the Criminal Code article on causing suicide.
