This is the second time Azerbaijan has violated the ceasefire agreement reached as a result of the personal mediation of the head of the OSCE Minsk Group co-chair country, thereby demonstrating to the international community its treacherous essence, with which Armenia has to deal for decades, Armenian MFA said in a statement.

The Defense Army of the Republic of Artsakh reported that the armed forces of Azerbaijan once again grossly violated the new agreement on a humanitarian ceasefire, and on October 18 at 07:20, after active artillery fire, they launched an offensive in the southern direction to take advantageous position. Armenia will continue to take all necessary measures to force Azerbaijan to peace and establish a ceasefire regime, along with the introduction of clear and effective mechanisms to maintain and monitor this regime on the ground.
