Erebuni Historical-Archaeological Reserve-Museum has opened a temporary exhibition entitled “Archaeological Relics from Shushi”.

The exhibition features unique archaeological objects of the museum of rugs in Shushi that were found in the territory of Artsakh and date back to 20th-6th centuries B.C.

During the 44-day war in 2020, Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh managed to take with them major samples of the museum, including rugs, carpets and other archaeological objects.

Among those attending the opening were Head of the Culture and Tourism Department at Yerevan Municipality Gosh Sargsyan, founder of the rugs museum in Shushi Vardan Astsatran, members of the Council of Elders of Yerevan and cultural figures.

The exhibition will run until May 29.
