Yerevan will consider the matter of Armenia joining the documents adopted at the CSTO meeting. Ani Badalyan, Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), informed this on the air of Public Television of Armenia.

A meeting of heads of CSTO countries was held Thursday in Minsk, the capital of Belarus. The Armenian side, however, did not participate in the summit.

At the start of the discussions, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko had stated that they will discuss the situation in the Caucasus as well.

And before that, Belarusian Foreign Minister Sergei Aleinik had announced that after the summit, the CSTO Secretary General will go to Yerevan to convey the decisions made to their Armenian partners.
