Armenia and Azerbaijan will start contacts at the parliamentary level. National Assembly speaker Alen Simonyan announced this on the air of the Public Television Company of Armenia

"I said that I should discuss this matter with our [parliamentary ruling majority] faction and [political] team, she [i.e. the Azerbaijani parliament speaker] also expressed her willingness to discuss it internally, and we agreed on the next meeting," said Simonyan.

He added that the next meeting with the speaker of the Milli Majlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan, Sahiba Gafarova, will most likely be in mid-May.
