The inaugural joint session of the working group for the Romanian-Armenian Cultural Heritage Joint Event Program was convened on Thursday at the Culture and National Heritage Ministry of Romania. The session was chaired by Armenia’s Ambassador to Romania, Hamlet Gasparyan, and the aforesaid Ministry’s Deputy Secretary of State, Irina Cajal-Marin.  

The parties reached mutual agreement on continuing the activities—and including specialists—toward organizing several huge events in 2012 and 2013.

The Armenian and Romanian specialists’ next meeting is scheduled for April 20, in Armenia’s capital Yerevan, on the eve of the Romanian Culture and National Heritage Minister’s visit to Armenia.
