YEREVAN. – A total of 164,900 passengers departed from and 138,700 have arrived in the Armenian capital Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport in January-March 2012, the Armenian General Department of Civil Aviation official website informs. And these numbers were 7,700 and 5,300 respectively at Gyumri city’s Shirak Airport.

So, 28,600 more people left Armenia than those who arrived in the country by air transport in January-March 2012. That is to say, a total of 172,600 passengers departed from and 144,000 have arrived in the country during that time.  

In January-March 2011, however, 162,500 passengers had left and 138,000 people had arrived in Armenia. And this time 24,500 more people had left than those who arrived.
