YEREVAN. – You should not vote for the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) if you are tired of the Karabakh (Artsakh) issue and it is all the same for you as to how the conflict is resolved, RPA member and Education and Science Minister Armen Ashotyan wrote in his Facebook account.

“When you should not choose the Republican Party of Armenia?”, Ashotyan asks, and he himself responds as follows:

“1. If you are tired of the Artsakh issue and it is all the same for you as to how the Karabakh conflict is resolved.

2. If you believe the country’s security and defense are all the same for you.

3. If you think you can believe those political forces which despise the responsibility for a certain time period, but wish to assume responsibility for a longer time period.

4. If you can allow yourselves the luxury of educating a new political elite with corresponding false promises and ambitions.

5. If you are prepared to become disappointed—on the very next day of your voting—for the unfulfilled promises.

In all other cases, choose the RPA on May 6.”
