YEREVAN. – During the Armenian capital Yerevan City Hall Staff’s regular working consultation on Monday, Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed that the city buildings’ cleaning, painting, and improvement get underway.  

He was informed that the creation of an external lighting network for Yerevan’s streets, courtyards, and gardens is at its final phase.   

The Mayor was also briefed that the installation of new benches and trash cans are still in progress, and the capital’s large road construction projects are continuing, too.

During the consultation, the Mayor again pointed to the matter of installing global positioning systems (GPS) and WiFi Internet in all of Yerevan’s new public transport buses. 

The Mayor was also briefed that all of the capital’s artificial water fountains will operate as of May 1.
