YEREVAN. – Education and Science Minister of Armenia Armen Ashotyan visited on Thursday Yerevan State Linguistic University to discuss the situation with the students.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am has earlier informed Yerevan State Linguistic University Chancellor Suren Zolyan was dismissed from his post on Tuesday under the order of Armenia’s Minister of Education and Science Armen Ashotyan.

The Minister released twice strict reprimands against the Chancellor, as the latter disobeyed Ashotyan’s orders by participating for a session, which the Minister had considered to be inappropriate.

As a result, students made a protest action in front of the Ministry and the Government.
