Three Christian churches were attacked January 8, on the threshold of planned protest of Muslim community representatives in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia).

One of the churches, Metro Tabernacle was destroyed by a firebomb, The New York Times reports, whereas two others were attacked several hours later.

According to BBC Russia, police found material evidence and two motorbikes at the site.

Inter-religious tension rose after Supreme Court decision under which Christians and other confessions’ representatives are allowed to use the word “Allah” calling to God in this Muslim country (60% of Muslims).
