YEREVAN. – An anthrax case was recorded in Armenia’s Armavir Region. The report was confirmed by spokesperson for state inspection on food safety Babken Poghosyan.
The laboratory test results have revealed that the animal was infected with anthrax.
Several days ago an anthrax case in cattle was registered in Tavush Region.
“Tavush Region is under strict supervision; the inspectors and veterinarians are in control of the situation,” Pipoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am earlier.
