YEREVAN. – The US national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 409.31/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Tuesday, and this is a 0.17-percent—or a 0.71-point—drop from the previous trading session on Monday. Furthermore, the dollar was offered at a lower rate at the end of the trading session. 

Tuesday’s sales totaled $3.37 million at the stock exchange.

The American national currency is losing more significant ground in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market. There are practically no exchange offices that buy the dollar at AMD 409/$1, as it is primarily bought at AMD 408/$1, and the US currency’s selling exchange rate has dropped all the way to AMD 410/$1.
