YEREVAN. – Armenia’s opposition Free Democrats Party is holding discussions in connection with next year’s presidential elections, Party Press Secretary Anzhela Khachatryan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. In her words, they are examining the format of the party’s participation in the elections and its likely presidential candidates.    

With respect to the likelihood of Party Vice Chairwoman Anush Sedrakyan’s nomination as presidential candidate, she noted: “[This] Likelihood is being discussed, too.”

In response to the query as to when the Free Democrats’ approach will become clear, Khachatryan said they cannot yet specify any precise day in this regard.
