YEREVAN. – The US national currency’s average exchange rate, against the Armenian dram (AMD), comprised AMD 407.20/$1, at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange on Wednesday, and this is a 0.52-percent—or a 2.11-point—drop from the previous trading session on Tuesday.

To note, this is a fairly sharp fluctuation for the Armenian financial market. Furthermore, the dollar was offered even lower than AMD 407/$1 at the end of the trading session.  

Wednesday’s sales totaled $2.64 million at the stock exchange.

The American national currency’s selling exchange rate dropped all the way to AMD 408/$1—as compared with Tuesday’s AMD 409/$1—, in Armenia’s cash foreign currency market, and it is bought either at AMD 405/$1 or 406/$1, and seldom at 407/$1.
