YEREVAN. – The identity of the person, who had jumped Thursday from capital city Yerevan’s Davitashen Bridge, is determined.

The person who committed suicide was 21-year-old Tigran Kechyan, a resident of Nor Kharberd village of Ararat Region, the Police press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) received information, on Thursday at 2:51pm, notifying that a person had jumped from Davitashen Bridge. An MES response team as well as police officers and ambulance staff were dispatched. The dead body of a 20-25-year-old, and unidentified, person was found at the scene of the incident.
