Georgia’s Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili met with OSCE High Commissioner on National Minorities Knut Vollebaek to discuss the solutionс to the national minorities’ problems.

Knut Vollebaek informed the Premier of projects carried out by OSCE for national minorities in Georgia. Premier Ivanishvili expressed government’s readiness to continue cooperation.

The Commissioner welcomed the fact that new Georgian government is ready to continue the integration process of ethnic minorities and to protect their rights, Georgia Online reported.

One of the largest ethnic groups in is the Armenian community which is mostly concentrated in  Tbilisi and the Samtskhe-Javakheti region bordering with Armenia.
