YEREVAN.- The meetings held by Prosperous Armenia leaders in Armenia’s region show that the party must participate in presidential elections and nominate Gagik Tsarukyan.

However, the party has not made a decision so far, secretary of Prosperous Armenia parliamentary group Naira Zohrabyan told a briefing on Friday.

“Summing up our meetings in the regions,with members of party’s regional offices and citizens, I can assert that  necessity to participate in the parliamentary elections was voiced. However, party’s political council will continue discussions and the final decision will be made public after we clarify positions,” she said.

Asked about precise date, Zohrabyan said the decision will be made “in the near future.”
