YEREVAN. – Armenian National Assembly’s (NA) Armenia-EU Parliamentary Cooperation Committee, with assistance by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ), convened a conference discussion on Monday, NA Public and Media Relations Department informs.    

The Committee Co-Chair Samvel Farmanyan delivered opening remarks at the event and noted that the objective of this discussion will be to listen to the viewpoints of the civil society and the executive branch of power, and with respect to the agenda issues of the Committee’s next session which will be held in Brussels on November 28-29.   

Farmanyan noted that European integration is the priority direction of Armenia’s foreign policy and the country is actively engaged in cooperation programs with the European Union. And in this context, he assessed the passing year as extremely hectic.  

The EU Mission Chief to Armenia, Traian Hristea, and GIZ Office Armenia director Dagmar Bott also delivered welcoming remarks at the event.
