Russian Foreign Ministry has called to immediately cease confrontation between Israel and Palestine to return to political settlement.  

In a statement issued on Monday, Russia urged the conflicting parties to put an end to hostilities to avoid human losses.

Russia will spare no effort for normalization of the situation to ensure security for both Israeli and Palestinians, the statement said.

The foreign office brings statistical data of the conflict. Since the beginning of operation on November 14, Israeli armed forces attacked 1,350 targets. Nearly 90 people, including children and women, were killed. Gaza has fired over 1,000 rockets. According to media, nearly 200 Israeli citizens turned for medical aid.
