In connection with the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs’ upcoming visit to the region, there are no grounds to assume that there will be some new development in the Nagorno-Karabakh peace process, political scientist Alexander Karavayev, who is the Deputy Director of the Center for Information and Analysis of Moscow State University, told Armenian News-NEWS.am.  

In his words, the Co-Chairs’ visit is a duty to the OSCE Minsk Group format, according to which it is required to make certain number of visits and to conduct exchange of views and information. “In my opinion, this will be yet another visit of duty,” Karavayev said. 

To note, the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs are scheduled to visit Azerbaijan on November 26 and, subsequently, Armenia.
