YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Ambassador to Canada, Armen Yeganyan, attended Wednesday the regular session of the Canada-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group, MFA informs.    

The participants discussed the ties between Armenia and Canada, and reflected on Turkey’s and Azerbaijan’s blockade imposed upon Armenia, settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the impact which the case of Ramil Safarov—the Azerbaijani army officer who had killed with an axe Armenian soldier Gurgen Margaryan in Budapest back in 2004 and who was released in Azerbaijan—has had on the settlement process, the Armenian Genocide, the Syrian Armenians, and mutual visits between the Armenian and Canadian parliamentary delegations.
