YEREVAN. – As a result of the currently ongoing processes among Armenia’s political forces, could First President and opposition bloc Armenian National Congress leader Levon Ter-Petrosyan become the opposition’s single candidate in the 2013 presidential election? Former FM and Prosperous Armenia Party MP Vartan Oskanian responded to this question posed by Haykakan Zhamanak daily.
‘“Now, it is incorrect to say something on a name,’ Oskanian replied. [And] To the query as to when the discussions on a precise presidential candidate be held, he responded: ‘Whether we like it or not, there will be some clarity next week,’” Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
