YEREVAN.- Unknown criminals stole money from several cash machines in Gyumri, Armenia’s second largest city.

The head of Gyumri office of Araratbank informed police about the robbery which took place over the night. He said the criminals cracked open a cash machine in one of Gyumri streets to steal about $72,000. An investigation is underway, police told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

However, our source said it was not the only robbery in Shirak Region. According to the information at agency’s disposal, similar robbery was committed in Akhuryan village. Police confirmed the reports.
