YEREVAN.- Leader of Orinats Yerkir Party, secretary of Armenia’s National Security Council Arthur Baghdasaryan will participate in the work of the second Eastern Partnership summit of the European People’s Party (EPP) to be held on Friday.

The summit participants will discuss issues related to the Eastern Partnership project. Arthur Baghdasaryan will hold a number of meetings with the European colleagues to discuss Armenia-EU cooperation and regional developments.

President of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso will visit Armenia to attend the summit and meet local officials. EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the crisis in Georgia Philippe Lefort will also visit Armenian on Friday.
