YEREVAN. – Eastern Partnership is a very important political process for the region, Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili said at the second Eastern Partnership summit of the European People's Party (EPP) in Yerevan on Friday.

“Georgia is not a member of the CIS, however, the country should develop in various directions. We should attract Europe and there is no other dream for me, my country and my party. This process will kick off from the summit scheduled for next year in Vilnius,” Saakashvili said. 

In his turn Moldavian PM Vladimir Filat stated importance of holding the summit within the cooperation of the Eastern Partnership member-states.
