YEREVAN. – European Commission President José Manuel Barroso, who is in Armenia to attend summit of the European Partnership leaders of the European People’s Party (EPP), visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial Saturday morning and laid a wreath (PHOTOS), Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute Director Hayk Demoyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

But Barroso did not visit the Museum-Institute and did not sign its guestbook, since this was not in his program. He asked when the Armenian Genocide took place, inquired about April 24, and posed several other questions, Demoyan added.
