YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan received his Moldovan colleague, Vlad Filat, who attended summit of the European Partnership leaders of the European People’s Party (EPP), which was convened in Armenia’s capital city Yerevan.    

“I am confident that your visit to Armenia will give new impetus to the development of bilateral relations and a new stimulus to the establishment of Armenian-Moldovan ties,” Sargsyan noted, the Government press service informs.   

In his turn, Filat stressed that his country looks toward expanding relations with Armenia, and noted that Moldova attaches a great importance to the development of cooperation with Armenia.   

In the context of bilateral economic ties, the interlocutors underscored the need to resume the activities of the Armenian-Moldovan Intergovernmental Economic Commission. Also, they made arrangement with respect to designing a new agenda for the development of economic cooperation between the two countries.  

In addition, Tigran Sargsyan and Vlad Filat highlighted the exchange of knowhow within the framework of the ongoing reforms and discussed several pertinent matters.
