YEREVAN. – Regular meeting of the active members of Armenia’s opposition New Times Party (NTP) was held on Saturday.
During the event, NTP Chairman Aram Karapetyan spoke about the aspects of the matter of participation in the country’s forthcoming presidential elections. And the overwhelming majority of the discussants expressed a conviction that, under the prevailing atmosphere of lawlessness in Armenia, it is simply impossible to change any situation by way of elections, NTP press service informs.
Also, the participants unanimously proposed that, based on the future political developments, New Times Party leader Aram Karapetyan himself decide whether or not to run for President.
