YEREVAN. – The Government of Armenia adopted a decision on November 29, according to which AMD 100 million (approx. $246,920) will be allocated to the Youth Foundation of Armenia. 

This amount will be provided to foundation to implement the program entitled “Scholarship provision to the first- and second-year students who are not included in the free education system of Armenia’s institutions of higher education and have demonstrated an academic excellence and social activism.”

Sixty million drams (approx. $148,150) of the aforesaid amount will be allocated to the reimbursement program of the tuition fees of Armenia-resident students and the remaining AMD 40 million (approx. $ 98,768) will be provided to reimburse the tuition fees of Syrian Armenian students, Youth Foundation of Armenia Public Relations Service informs.
