The winter temperatures in Armenia will be above normal, Hydrometeorology Center Forecasting Department Head Gagik Surenyan informed during a press conference on Saturday. 

“The air temperature will drop by 3-5 [degrees Celsius] °C by December 15, but there will be no frost. The temperature will be 1-3 °C higher in the three winter months,” the meteorologist noted.

Surenyan stated that a warm and precipitation-rich winter is expected for Armenia, but added that no snow is forecast for capital city Yerevan until December 15.
