YEREVAN. – Geological processes are not linked to atmospheric processes, Hydrometeorology Center Forecasting Department Head Gagik Surenyan stated during a press conference on Saturday.
As per the meteorologist, global warming has not had a significant negative impact on Armenia. “The sole thing connected with this phenomenon is the 0.1-0.3 [degrees Celsius] °C-rise in the air temperature of the country,” the specialist noted.
Surenyan, however, confessed that some climatic disasters could bespeak the existence of global warming.
