YEREVAN.- Eurasian Development Bank (EDB) will consider possibility of granting a loan of $100 million to North-South  transport corridor in Armenia, the EDB Board Chairman Igor Finogenov said during a press conference on Tuesday.    

“We are considering possible funding one of the components together with the Asian Development Bank,” he explained.

Technical and financial feasibility of the project is already underway, so it will be easier to prepare documents for the credit request.

North - South corridor has received funding from the Asian Development Bank in the amount of $500 million. Co-financing of the Government of Armenia will total $467 million. Tender for three sections of the road has already been completed.
