YEREVAN. – The close associates of Armenian Premier Tigran Sargsyan are very delightful these days over the impressions of his recent visits and reception in the United States, Hraparak daily reports.

“They are telling with pride that Tigran Sargsyan was very warmly received there, [that] it was unprecedented in its kind. What is more, they are proud that prominent personalities, former senior officials, and intellectuals were on hand at the PM’s lecture he delivered at Kennedy High School.

They [that is, the attendees] also included Armenia’s former Ambassador to Italy, Ruben Shugaryan, whom [then-President Robert Kocharyan] had dismissed in 2008 for supporting the opposition,” Hraparak writes.
